Help improve lung cancer care by sharing your experience.
The PROPEL study is gathering real-world insights from people with a lung cancer diagnosis and those who care for them. By sharing your experiences, you can help improve access to life-saving precision medicine and shape the future of lung cancer care. Your voice will help researchers and policymakers understand the real-world impact of treatments, identify gaps in care, and push for meaningful change.

Lung cancer is Canada’s leading cause of cancer-related deaths, yet access to precision medicine treatments is not equal. Many people experience delays, barriers, and uncertainty when navigating their care.
PROPEL (Patient Reported Outcomes in People Experiencing Lung Cancer) is a research study that collects real-world data from people impacted by lung cancer to:
Understand the physical, emotional, and social impacts of lung cancer on those diagnosed and their caregivers.
Evaluate access to and effectiveness of precision medicine treatments.
Advocate for equitable, patient-centered cancer care across Canada.
A Patient-Centered Research Initiative
The PROPEL study is part of the Patient Voices in Research Initiative, supported by the Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network. The study is led by a team at Glans-Look Lung Cancer Research through the University of Calgary.
This initiative was designed by cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers to ensure research focuses on what truly matters: the lived experiences of those affected by cancer.
